Being a Christian in today's world is very hard. But do not let that scare you, anything worthwhile is worth working for. Being a Christian can be hard but it can also be fun. That is my objective, through my own stories, stories of my friends and a lot of plagiarism (Just kidding, only a little plagiarism.), I am going to show that you can be a Christian and still have fun!

I hate going to the doctor.

I hate going to the doctor. I have an appointment Friday to see my doctor, not for surgery or anything like that, just a follow up visit. I have been fighting a small illness for over a year now, taking antibiotics for most of that time. It really stinks. I told my doctor that I am sick and tired of being sick and tired all of the time. So he told me to come in for ANOTHER follow up. Maybe I need to go online and go to FINDANOTHERDOCTOR.COM.

Oh well, like I said before and I will say it again, "Don't tell God how big your storms are, tell the storms how big your God is."

God bless, Joe

I hate going to the doctor.

Join the everlovin' blue-eyed club. I have NEVER liked going to the doctor. I've had only one doctor who ever made me feel comfortable, and I no longer live where he practices (I wonder if he ever got good at it?).
BTW I love that quote, too.Joe2

Be sure and use the one for blogger. It is the joshua code 2415_ar.js that we have on our site.

Compliments of Jack Lewis.net of course!

God Bless you Joe and the great work that you do.

I will pray for an improvement to your health. Some times it takes a while to get over things. As a nurse, I have found that faith and a positive attitude works miracles.

Email me if you ever need anything.

Hi Joe!

Like everyone else, I love the quote. Also love the cartoon. :)

Be sure to take a good probiotic to add good bacteria into your system (which the antiobiotic will decimate). I've been learning a lot about pure oil of oregano and am very impressed. You can take a few drops a few times a day under your tongue (with a glass of water) and it's supposed to kill all sorts of bacteria and fungus.

Hope you get over this soon!

My theory about wellness that seems to work out pretty well for me is: Get off the drugs! They wreak havoc. Just don't smoke, drink alcohol, eat fast food or other junk.

Get exercise everyday, eat fruits and veggies and whole grain food, the more natural the better, get enough sleep, drink 15 glasses of water a day, take a multi-vitamin and watch your health improve.

I'm convinced that doctors just cure symptoms with pills, but what about preventing the illness in the first place?

Joe, totally funny cartoon! I am sorry you feel sick and tired, I have one of those fun illnesses that causes me to feel that way a lot too....It's the pits.

Good for you for going to the doctor, I know some men are stubborn about such things.

Praying for ya, bro!

hey there... I read your blog and I'm not sure if you're exaggerating about being on anti-biotics for a year, but that's not right. that should not happen. i went undiagnosed with four sleep disorders for 11 years because my doctor was too small town to know narcolepsy when she saw it. if you're weak and tired you should get a sleep latency test. maybe something is interrupting your sleep at night (like my nocturnal myoclonus). if you're sick to your stomach and weak - check out crypto-sporidium, like you keep getting the flu every few weeks - my friend had that! Just keep trying to find the truth, that's what God would want you to do. Seek and you shall find.
