Being a Christian in today's world is very hard. But do not let that scare you, anything worthwhile is worth working for. Being a Christian can be hard but it can also be fun. That is my objective, through my own stories, stories of my friends and a lot of plagiarism (Just kidding, only a little plagiarism.), I am going to show that you can be a Christian and still have fun!

I can't even dig a hole in the sand.

A few weeks ago my family and I went to the beach. I tried to help my youngest son build a sand castle. I was so bad at it I decided to just dig a hole, I couldn't even do that right. It kept falling in on me. But check out what this guy can do. Chuck Ritchey Sr. of Ocean City, Maryland does a little bit better job than I do. He uses his talent as a ministry since many people view his art everyday. Think about it, this guy is playing in the sand to further God's kingdom. So, what can you do for God?

God bless, Joe

I can't even dig a hole in the sand.

I've seen this guy's work. I used to go to OC MD every year as a kid. Such a great change from the worldliness that pervades that place. What a blessing.

Cool pictures, what a great ministry to have something displayed like this in a public place and probably gives opportunity to share Jesus.

Wow, very nice stuff, I wish I could do that but all I can do is dig holes too ... lousy ones ...

I've actually been to your blog before, found it through Shannon's site but never left a comment.

Thanks for dropping by the tree house. Joe.

Take care :)

Please set the record straight! Randy Hofman does this sandart, Not Chuck Ritchie, Sr.!!!!!!!
Randy's been doing it 30 or more years. He is our friend. Please give the credit to the right person. Thank you!

came on this site to correct the blog owner's error and i see that bannergrammy has already done it. wtg bannergrammy! randy hofman is indeed the sand sculptor / artist, not chuck ritchey as is suggested by a chain email which is going around and probably where joe b got his misinformation. people beware: the "facts" contained in most chain emails cannot be trusted! do NOT pass them on without checking!
